Louis Little is a Bristol based portrait & social documentary photographer. Born in London and raised in East Anglia, he studied photography at the University of Plymouth before graduating in 2011. Shortly afterwards, he was awarded the Greg O'Shea Memorial Prize for outstanding photographic practice and final degree show. Following that he was nominated for the South West Graduate Photography prize which resulted in his degree work being exhibited at multiple locations across the UK. In 2012 he began working for the British photographer Martin Parr as his full-time assistant. In 2015 he collaborated with the Impossible Project which resulted in the mini-series ‘Sunken Polaroids’.
In a world populated by digital cameras and iPhones his work aims to challenge the ways in which cameras can be used in order to further our understanding of who we are, and how we fit into the world around us.
